Ann Marie Harris, daughter of Jerry and Phyllis (Ruehle) Peterson, was born on March 18, 1960, in Emmetsburg Iowa. She received her education from Ruthven Consolidated School and graduated in 1979.
On June 14, 1980, she was united in marriage to Rusty Nelson Harris. They made their home in Ruthven. To this union two children were born.
Ann worked at care centers in both, Ruthven and Emmetsburg, White Glove in Spencer, the Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School in Ruthven, and Relativity Tees in Ruthven and Emmetsburg before her retirement. Ann was also an active member of the Ruthven American Legion Auxiliary and the Ruthven Fire Department Auxiliary.
Ann always looked forward to the annual Ornament Party. Ann also enjoyed the times she spent with friends and family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren. If there was an event that one of her grandchildren was participating in she was there to cheer them on during a sporting event or sit back and listen during a music event.
