Ann Marie Heiman, daughter of Francis and Dorothy (Sherman) Lynch, was born August 15, 1955 in Jefferson County, Iowa.  She began her education in Churdan, Iowa and after Ann's family moved to Milford where she attended Milford Public School for one year.  She then transferred to St. Joseph Catholic School where she attended for a few years.  Ann graduated from Milford Public High School.  Ann served in the United States Army and received the National Defense Service Medal.

On April 5, 1975 Ann was united in marriage to John Heiman at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Milford, Iowa.  They were blessed with three children.

Ann and John farmed near Ayrshire raising crops and having livestock.  Ann enjoyed raising hogs from farrow to finish.

She was a lifetime and faithful member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Ayrshire.  She was also an active member of Sacred Heart Guild, always willing to help out in any way she could.  When Ann's boys were young she served as Cub Scout leader.  Ann was a hard worker and was a big supporter of the community of Ayrshire and the American Legion Post #173.

Ann enjoyed going fishing at Silver Lake and spending time creating and caring for her pond that was in the backyard.  Ann especially loved seeing and talking to her grandchildren.  She had the joy of taking a trip to Ireland with her brother a few years ago and they had a great trip.

Ann passed away Sunday, November 12, 2023 at Mercy Medical Center in Mason City, Iowa, at the age of 68.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Francis and Dorothy Lynch; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Evelyn Heiman; and brothers-in-law, Bill, Don (Trudy) and Gary Heiman.

She is survived by her husband, John of Ayrshire, Iowa; her children, Anthony "Tony" Heiman of Ayrshire, Iowa, Nicholas "Nick" Heiman (April Green) of Ayrshire, Iowa and Tracy Schmitt (Brett) of Seattle, Washington; three grandchildren, Xavier, Kenzi and Zander Schmitt; brothers, Pat Lynch of Ayrshire, Iowa and Tom Lynch (Sveta) of Guerneville, California; sister, Mary Andersen (Lon) of Des Moines, Iowa; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Bob Heiman (Jeani) of Ayrshire, Iowa, Mary Jane Treska (Tom) of Urbandale, Iowa and Joann Conlon (Joe) of Allison, Iowa; nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.
