Beverly Dee Zinnel passed on to her heavenly home on Saturday, April 16, 2022.
Beverly was born in rural Plymouth County, north of Fairbury, Nebraska on November 30, 1933 to Albert and Phyllis (Hummel) Boeckner. She was baptized on December 25, 1933 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Daykin, Nebraska and then confirmed on March 31, 1947 at Zion Lutheran Church in Luverne, IA. The family then moved to Cylinder, IA where she married her high school sweetheart. Lloyd and Beverly were married November 16, 1952 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Emmetsburg.
Beverly was an excellent homemaker, supportive farmer's wife, mother, daughter, lovely cook and hostess, long-time Sunday School teacher and faithful member of her church. She had been a widow for 34 years and was sole caregiver to David. Her granddaughter, Amy, described her as a "pillar of strength, love, faith in God and eternal hope. She taught me that God has three answers to your prayers. 1. Yes 2. Not yet and 3. I have something better in mind."
Beverly is survived by her daughter, Debra (Robert) Mohr (Sioux Falls, SD), son Randall (Jackie) Zinnel (Queen Creek, AZ), grandchildren Brian (Claire) Mohr (Las Vegas, NV), Monica Wall (fiancé Ben Johnson Sioux Falls, SD), Amy (Ryan) Looper (Queen Creek, AZ), Jonathan (Ty) Zinnel (Issaquah, WA), great-grandchildren, Oscar, Alex, Aiva, Emberly, Hunter and Samuel, brother Bradley (Judie) Boeckner (San Antonio, TX), sister-in law Darlene Zinnel (Greenville, SC), and precious nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceding her to heaven were her husband Lloyd, son David, parents and grandparents and infant twin brothers, Darrel and Dennis. Both Lloyd and Beverly passed on during Holy Week. What a comfort, He is Risen indeed! Alleluia!
