Bobby Farrell Weatherman, son of Robert and Emma (Cornett) Weatherman, was born February 3, 1935 in Harrison, Arkansas.  He received his education in Arkansas.

On September 3, 1968 Bob was united in marriage to Jean Gappa in Jackson, Minnesota. They were blessed with a daughter, Barb.

As a young man Bob moved to Iowa and did electrical work.  He later purchased a semi and began a career as a trucker.  He drove for Spencer Brokerage transporting Morton Buildings.  He took the first load out the Spencer plant.

Bob enjoyed the outdoors and especially fishing.  When he and Jean moved to Ruthven Bob had a fish pond at his home.  He also enjoyed working with his son-in-law, restoring old homes.  He and Jean loved pets and always had animals.  Bob cherished all of the  time he spent with his  family, especially his grandchildren.

Bob passed away Thursday, December 21, 2023 at his daughter's home in Spencer, Iowa at the age of 88.  He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jean; and three brothers, Ford, Bill and Joe.

He is survived by his daughter, Barb Knapp and her husband, Chris of Spencer, Iowa; his grandchildren and great grandchildren, Bradley Knapp, his wife, Nikki and  their son, Wyatt of Edwards, California, Emily Dischler and her husband, Nick and their children, Jaxon and Olivia, and Madeline Iles and her husband, Blake of Spencer, Iowa; a sister-in-law, Hanna Hall of Brooten, Minnesota; as well as many other relatives and friends.
