Bonnie Arndorfer, daughter of Francis and Evelyn (Eischeid) Froehlich, was born on December 29, 1940 in Algona, Iowa. She began her education at St. Benedict and graduated from St. Cecelia Academy.

After graduating high school, she was a member of Teen Trio, singing across the nation and most notably winning a trip to New York City to perform.

On October 27, 1959, Bonnie married Thomas Arndorfer. Bonnie and Tom were blessed with six children.

Bonnie's love for music was an instrumental part of her life. She enjoyed playing piano at church, the accordion at parties, and dancing to polka music. Elvis was her favorite artist. If the moment called for a song, she was the one singing; and if there wasn't a song, she made one up! Bonnie's infamous jingle she lovingly wrote about her famous Froehlich family was the highlight at any party. She loved sewing Barbie clothes, doll blankets, and quilts for her children and grandchildren. She spent time playing cards with family and close friends. She also enjoyed trips to K-Mart and the Wild Rose Casino, with the ability to win on any machine. Decorating her home to the nines for holidays was her specialty, with appropriately dressed dolls, lighted houses, and musical trinkets. Her quick wit brought smiles to everyone who knew her.

Bonnie and Tom moved from Sanborn, MN to Emmetsburg, IA in 2013. She passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022, at the age of 81.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Jan (Fabian) Sanchez of Fresno; Julie (Dan) McCain of Emmetsburg; Sue (Doug) Doyle of Estherville; Terry (Steve) Vaughan of Omaha; Kelly (Dennis) Vonnahme of Pocahontas; Chris (Tanya) Arndorfer of Marshall; fifteen grandchildren: Brent; Kelsey, Ben, and Molly; Pat and Sarah; Amber and Abby; Kate, Jill, Mike and Jenna; Michelle, Ashley and Carter; 4 step-grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren; siblings: Judy Rosenmeyer, Lee (Kathee) Froehlich, Linda (Don) Besch, Margia (Dave) Zeimet, Tom (Linda) Froehlich, Jim (Jane) Froehlich, Bill (Marj) Froehlich, Robyn (Arnie) Gray, Jane (Nick) Krieps, a step-sister LuAnn (Dave) Garnjobst; sisters and brothers-in-law: Arlene Rice, Marge Oxley, Gene Arndorfer, Mary Tigges, and Alice Gramza; many nieces and nephews, as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her husband, Tom, her parents, her brothers: Don and Oscar, and her infant great-granddaughter, Makyla Laree Chapman, and her step father Gordon Davidson. She is loved and missed by many.
