Brenda Lee Stone was born July 21, 1970 to Penny Ogle in Spirit Lake, Iowa.  Brenda and her parents, Penny and Floyd Boysel, made their home in Spirit Lake and later lived in Muscatine and Arizona.  After returning to Iowa, Brenda graduated from Spirit Lake High School.

Brenda made her home in Ruthven where she was employed at Lakeland for many years.  In January 2011 Brenda was united in marriage to Curtis Stone in Ruthven.

Brenda loved gardening and especially raising sunflowers.  They were her favorite.  She also loved doing all types of crafts.

Brenda passed away Monday, October 11, 2021 at her home in Ruthven, Iowa, at the age of 51.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents and two grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis of Ruthven, Iowa; her children, Drake Green, Neil Moore, Megan Moore and Dakota Moore; her mother and step father, Penny and Floyd; five grandchildren, Emmett, Layla, Karlie, Chandler, and Isabella; two step children,  Zachary and Samantha; one step grandchild; a brother, Christopher Green of Milford, Iowa; a sister, Randi Dye of Arizona; as well as other relatives and many friends.
