Carol Ann Roth, the daughter of Richard Roth and Clarita (Becker) Roth was born September 21, 1959 in Spencer IA. Her childhood years were spent in the Spencer Area, where she attended Sacred Heart Catholic School up till 8th grade then graduated from Spencer High School in 1978.

After Graduation, her and her twin sister relocated to Omaha, NE to work for Northwestern Bell as temps putting Yellow Pages together. They moved back home to Spencer and then worked for A&M Laundry for a short time, she then worked for Lamplighter Motel as a reservationist until the onset of multiple sclerosis.

Carol enjoyed playing cards, watching Me.tv, doing word find, and collecting Coca-Cola branded items. She also loved the Disney character Tigger. Carol spent Saturday nights with friends at Sarge's Disco. Carol was a very generous and caring person who enjoyed acknowledging birthday and life events with cards and gifts to everyone she knew.

Carol passed away on Friday January 24, 2025 at Spencer Municipal Hospital at the age of 65. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother-in-law Conley Metzger of Lone Rock, IA.

Carol is survived by her  son Bryan Roth of Spencer, IA, two sisters Diane Metzger of Lone Rock, IA, her twin sister Cheryl (Fred) Zemke of Newell, IA, 1 niece Chrissy Morrow (Andrew Kommer) of Eden Prairie, MN, 2 nephews Chad Metzger of Lone Rock, IA, Aaron (Sarah) Mendenhall of Rembrandt, IA, 4 uncles John Becker of Afton, IA, Allen Becker of Perry, IA, Gary (Maureen) Becker of Perry, IA, Gene (Kaye) Becker of Pomeroy, IA, two aunts Loa Becker of Maple Grove, IA, Rose Cates of Okoboji, IA, and other relatives and many friends.
