Cliff was very active in his community serving on the Graettinger Fire Department and the City Council. He was a past member of the United Methodist Church in Graettinger.
Cliff and Eileen enjoyed attending dances in the area. They also loved to take their family fishing at Lost Island and High Lake and spend time at their cabin. Cliff played golf in Graettinger and Ruthven for many years and found a lot of enjoyment in taking his tractors on area tractor rides.
