(Charles) David Wise, son of Michael Wise and Barbara Ballard was born on August 4, 1970 in Rolla, MO. Dave was found deceased on September 16, 2018 at age of 48 years. He is preceded in death by his grandparents.

Dave lived in several states before moving to Emmetsburg, IA. He graduated from Iowa Lakes Community College with a degree in Marine Technology and Small Engine Repair in May, 2009. He was self-employed at Wise Repair in rural Emmetsburg. He enjoyed fabricating and fixing all kinds of engines and vehicles. He was challenged when trying to figure out why something didn't work and often consulted with his dad to "pick his brain." He also enjoyed traveling with his family.

Dave was married to Angela (Kinnetz) on May 7, 2011. He is survived by his wife, Angela (Kinnetz) and his daughters, Elaura, Nattalie, Charlie Rose, and Bobbie Ann and his son Isaac, his parents, Michael and Berni Wise (Emmetsburg) and Barbara Ballard (California), his parents in law, Kevin and Linda Kinnetz (Emmetsburg), siblings, Charlene (Billy) Loux, (Klamath Falls, OR), Christina Nelson (Belmond, IA), Carolee Wise (Emmetsburg, IA), Daniel (Nicole) Wise, Emmetsburg, IA and Caitlin (Wesley) Worel (Cushing, MN) and sister in law Stephanie (Larry) Fay, (Ruthven, IA) and brother-in-law, Robert Kinnetz (Special friend, Grace), (Laurens, IA) as well as friends, customers, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers a memorial will be set up at Emmetsburg Catholic School.
