Elizabeth Ann Clark, formerly of Ottumwa, Iowa, passed away November 21, 2023, at the Emmetsburg Care Center in Emmetsburg, at the age of 94.

She was born June 6, 1929 in Ottumwa to Clarence and Margaret Barry Ellis. Betty married Robert L. "Bob" Clark on July 4, 1947 and he preceded her in death on November 13, 2011.

Betty was a 1947 graduate of Ottumwa High School. She and her husband owned and operated A-1 Carpet Cleaners and A-1 Carpet, retiring in 1979.

She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church. Betty and her husband enjoyed going to the Meskwaki Casino to play bingo, but most importantly, she loved her family.

Surviving are her children, Sheila (John) Carmichael of Urbandale and Katherine (Ray) Huff of Reno, NV; 2 grandchildren, Jason Smith of Emmetsburg and Whitney (Chris) Driscoll of Des Moines; 2 great-grandchildren, Jordan Smith of Ottumwa and Jaylinn (Johnny) Strait of West Des Moines; 2 step-granddaughters, Jenna Carmichael of Pennsylvania and Julia (Eric) Torres of Reno, NV; 3 step-great-grandchildren, Cole, Stevie and Brayden; 2 brothers, James (Kris) Ellis of San Antonio, TX and Clarence "Bud" Ellis of Peach Tree City, GA.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Claire Smith and a sister-in-law, Mary Ellis.

Arrangements were made by Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa, Iowa.
