Geraldine "Gerrie" Josephine (Bradley) Lowman was born January 9, 1936 in Emmetsburg.  She was the daughter of Geraldine and Bernard Bradley.  She graduated from Emmetsburg Public School in 1954.

On January 21, 1956, Gerrie was married to Gloal R. Lowman at Assumption Parish in Emmetsburg.  To this union six children were born.  Gloal was in the United States Air Force and the family traveled extensively before settling in Emmetsburg.  She worked at several businesses and worked at the Redwood Café for over 25 years.  She then worked at SNC until her retirement in 1994.

Gerrie enjoyed many activities, Bunco, Bingo, crocheting, knitting and going to the casino.  She loved visiting with people and never forgot anyone she met.

Geraldine Lowman passed away Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Emerald Oaks in Emmetsburg.  She was 85.

Gerrie is survived by 3 children, Jean (Tom) Conway of Park Rapids, MN, Tim of Emmetsburg and Tom (Ki Ok) of Sierra Vista, AZ; daughter-in-law, Jackie Lowman of Emmetsburg; grandchildren, Nathan Conway of Emmetsburg, Shawn (Samantha) Conway of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Joshua (Michelle) Conway of Waipahu, HI, and Amber (Adam) Taylor of Pueblo West, CO; great grandchildren, Joshua, Autumn, Jasmine, Eli, Cha Cha, and Caleb; her siblings, Helen Olson of Elba, MN, Carolyn Smith of Emmetsburg, Gini Roberts of Dovray, MN, Frances Simons of Walnut Grove, AR, and Bea Poeppe of Emmetsburg; many nieces and nephews; as well as many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; ex-husband, Gloal Lowman; three sons, James, Michael and Mickey; siblings, Richard, Dwayne, John, Pat, and Wendy Driver.
