Judy Catherine Reese, daughter of Christine Lockard, was born June 19, 1947 in Waynesboro, Tennessee.  She received her education in Tennessee, Arkansas and Kansas, graduating from high school in Wichita, Kansas.

On February 7, 1969 Judy was united in marriage to Paul Reese in Wichita.  They were blessed with three children.  Judy was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker, caring for her family and supporting her husband throughout his career.  They settled in Arizona where they resided until moving to Emmetsburg in October to be near family.

Judy enjoyed dancing, listening to music and playing cards.  She liked the outdoors and especially going fishing.  Judy loved every moment she could spend with her grandchildren.

Judy passed away Saturday, December 30, 2023 at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, Iowa, at the age of 76.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Christine Lockhard.

She is survived by her husband, Paul of Emmetsburg, Iowa; her children, Paul Reese and his wife, Kelly of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Christina Reese of Prescott, Arizona and Sabrina Martinez of Emmetsburg, Iowa; nine grandchildren, Kathryn, Janessa, Paul, Amber, Leo, Luke, John, Christine and Rebecca; as well as other relatives and friends.
