Karen Sue Toillion, daughter of Robert and Jessie (Bates) Fieseler, was born December 17, 1961 in Emmetsburg, Iowa.  She received her education at Ruthven Community School.

On August 5, 1985 Karen was united in marriage to Kevin Toillion at the United Methodist Church in Ruthven.  They were blessed with two sons.

Karen was employed at the Ruthven-Ayrshire Community School and worked in the Library for several years.

Karen enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.  She loved entertaining people and getting together with friends and family.  She also enjoyed boating on Lost Island and being out in the sunshine.

Karen passed away February 25, 2021 at her home on Lost Island Lake, at the age of 59.  She was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bob" Fiesler.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin of Ruthven, Iowa; her sons and daughter-in-law, Kyle and Jen Toillion of Royal, Iowa and Kody Toillion of Owatonna, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Brantley and Aidan; her mother, Jessie Fieseler of Ruthven, Iowa; brothers, Jeff, Ken  and Dan; as well as many other relatives and friends.
