Keith Kail Walker, son of J. Harley and Alice (Woodford) Walker, was born March 27, 1926 on the family farm, near Webb, Iowa. He received his education at Garfield School, Webb Community School and Cornell Community School. Keith then began farming with his father near Webb, and later moved to the Ruthven area.

He was a faithful member of the Baptist Church in Spencer where he served as a deacon. For the last seventeen years, Keith has been a member of Grace Baptist Church in Emmetsburg.

Keith loved hunting and collecting arrowheads that he had found in the area.
