Lawrence "Larry" Kinnetz

Lawrence "Larry" William Kinnetz, son of  Dale and Betty (Spencer) Kinnetz, was born June 10, 1954, in Emmetsburg, Iowa.  He received his education in the Emmetsburg Public School System  and then served in the United States Military as a Marine.

Larry was employed at Swift packing house in Marshalltown for many years. Later, he began driving truck, retiring two years ago.

He had many interests, but anything to do with sports was what he enjoyed most. He really loved watching football, especially the Kansas City Chiefs. Larry enjoyed bowling and playing in league.

Larry passed away May 28, 2022, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny, Iowa, at the age of 67. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Kinnetz.

He is survived by a daughter, Tonya Jones of Ankeny, Iowa; two sons, Nathan Kinnetz of Iowa Falls, Iowa and Adam Kinnetz of Oklahoma; his father, Dale Kinnetz of Emmetsburg, Iowa; twin brother, Terry (Tracey) Kinnetz of Spirit Lake, Iowa; sister Cindy (James) Opheim of Fairbault, Minnesota; along with many other relatives and friends.
