Lowetta Jean Miller, daughter of Robert Howard Terry and Marylyn Lee (Lassiter) Terry, was born February 23, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa.

She was blessed with her son Joshua and loved spending time with him. They moved from Des Moines to Ruthven, Iowa in 1985 so she could be there for her grandfather. She lived there ever since.

Lowetta and her sister, Robin, both enjoyed helping serve the youth as volunteers for the Vacation Bible School at Zion Lutheran Church in Ruthven.

She had many interests and hobbies. Some of which included anything to do with astronomy, space, medieval times and science-fiction as she had a sense of wonder and adventure. She also loved collecting Princess Diana memorabilia, Barbies and dolls, and sewing clothes for her dolls. She would sew many other things as well as having a hobby of beading to show her creative flair. Lowetta also loved to read, she especially loved her sci-fi and romance novels.

Lowetta passed away on May 24, 2022, at the Spencer Municipal Hospital in Spencer, Iowa at the age of 63. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marylyn.

Lowetta is survived by her son, Joshua Miller of Spencer, Iowa; her two sisters, Robin Darnall of Ruthven, Iowa, and Laura Darnall of Des Moines, Iowa; two nephews, Thomas (Tiffany) Darnall Jr. and Remington (Amanda) Darnall; one great-nephew, Patrick Darnall; along with many other relatives and friends.
