On June 29, 1953 Mary was united in marriage to Leonard Trick at Assumption Catholic Church in Emmetsburg. To this union four children were born.
Mary was a stay at home mom until 1967 when she began working at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg. She continued working there for seventeen years. She later worked at the Shamrock Bar, the Outlet Store and A.S.I.
Mary was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg. She was also a member of the V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary, Birthday Club and Garden Club. Mary served on the Residents Council at Lakeside Lutheran Home.
Mary was an avid bowler and had played on several leagues throughout her life. She had a "green thumb" and enjoyed starting and growing plants and flowers in her home. She loved following her children's and grandchildren's activities. Mary always looked forward to the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Easter. She liked going shopping, eating at Kirby's on Saturday nights with her friends, playing Euchre, 500 and Bingo. Her friends and family referred to her as "Lucky Mary" as she was highly competitive and loved to win.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leonard; brothers, Everett, James, and Robert Myers; daughter-in-law, Virginia Trick; grandson, Eric Trick; and great granddaughter, Hayley Trick.
