Maureen (Feldman) Burke of Wallingford, Iowa passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for immediate family.

The daughter of John Paul "Jack" and Mary Helen (Hand) Feldman, Maureen (Feldman) Burke was born on August 5, 1955, in Emmetsburg,
Iowa. Maureen spent her younger years near Terril, Iowa and graduated from Terril High School.

Maureen was employed by Polaris, Echo Group Home, and Home Health.  For the past seven years, Maureen found joy in her role as a full-time nanny, caring for her great nieces, Kyann and Brielle Eick.

Maureen radiated love as a devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her greatest joy in life was cherishing her family and relishing precious moments spent with them. Maureen's legacy of love, kindness, and joyful spirit will forever remain in the lives of those she touched. Her absence will be deeply felt, but her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Maureen is survived by her son Mike (Randalyn) Fairbanks, grandchildren Tyson, Mikenna, Kaberlee, Melissa and Greg, her mother Mary Feldman of Emmetsburg; her siblings: Mike (Mary) Feldman of Ruthven, Tom (Rhonda) Feldman of Carroll, Theresa (Ron) Eick of Terril, Jim (Cindy) Feldman of Fostoria, Jenny (Ken) Murray of North Liberty, Katy Foley of Largo, Florida, and Barb (Dan) Mullenbach of Urbandale; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other extended relatives.

Maureen was preceded in death by her father, John "Jack" Feldman and her brother, Kevin "Kelly" Feldman.
