Nancy Jean Manwarren, daughter of Donald and Betty (King) Kafer, was born September 2, 1957 in Estherville, Iowa.  She received her education in the Emmetsburg school system.

On October 22, 1989 Nancy was united in marriage to Thomas E. Manwarren at the United Methodist Church in Emmetsburg.   They were blessed with two sons, David and Tommy.

Nancy worked at the Redwood Café for sixteen years and then began her employment at Dairy Queen where she worked for thirty years.

Nancy enjoyed playing Bingo with her Bingo buddies, Eva Lowman, Alice Manwarren and Emily Neet.  She also liked doing puzzle books, diamond art and collecting chickens.

Nancy's heart was full when her niece Jaylynn Manwarren moved in with her and Tom six years ago.  She became "their girl".  When their great granddaughter, Kehlani was born she became the apple of their eye.  Nancy loved every minute she could spend with her family.  They all meant the world to her.
