Pauline R. Loring, daughter of Jacob and Ursula (Wiwi) Loring, was born March 3, 1928 in Illinois. She began her education in country school in Iowa and completed 8th grade. She then attended Emmetsburg Community School.

Following high school, Pauline was a telephone operator for many years.   She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Emmetsburg.

Pauline passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at the Palo Alto County Hospital in Emmetsburg, Iowa, at the age of 94.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob and Ursula Loring; three brothers, Ed Loring, Ray Loring, and James Loring; three sisters, Rita Goeders, Margert Onken, and Annabelle Walker.

She is survived by two brothers, Frank Loring and Larry Loring; two sisters, Alberta Spurling and Liz Reinders; as well as other relatives and friends.
