Yolunda (Scott) Jackson, daughter of Everett and Alice (Thomas) Scott, was born December 3, 1965 in Estherville, Iowa. She received her education in Palasade, Minnesota, Ruthven and Atkin, Minnesota. Yolunda was blessed with a daughter, Misty.

On April 5, 1994, Yolunda was united in marriage to James Jackson in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Yolunda was employed at Eaton's Corporation in Spencer for twenty two years. She was also a forklift driver for Safco Products in Milford for two years.

Yolunda loved playing with her grandchildren, going shopping and going to garage sales to see what bargains she could find.

Yolunda passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at the Spencer Municipal Hospital at the age of 54. She was preceded in death by her father, Everett and a brother, Quentin Scott.

She is survived by her husband, James J. Jackson of Ruthven, Iowa; her daughter, Misty D. Cilliers (Riaan) of Ruthven, Iowa; step children, Michael Jackson (Becky) of Emmetsburg, Iowa, Lisa Jackson of Spencer, Iowa, and Lori Jackson of Rockford, Iowa; nine grandchildren and one on the way, Olund Cilliers ; seven great grandchildren; her mother, Alice Scott of Ruthven, Iowa; two brothers, Doran Scott (Lisa) of Ruthven, Iowa and Heath Scott (Rolinda) of Ruthven, Iowa; a sister, Kimela Scott (Howard Smith) of Ruthven, Iowa; nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles and cousins; as well as many friends.
